Veneers / Wood

Thalloris furniture are made of solid wood and blockboard veneered with natural veneer. Given that the product is made of real wood, differences in color and structure will appear naturally.

Care instruction:
  • Wipe with a clean, dry cloth or a wrung-out cloth that has been rinsed in clean water. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain. Dry immediately with a clean cloth.
  • Veneered products are protected by a clear lacquer but excessive use of water, or fluid left on the surface will penetrate the lacquer and result in damage to the veneer.
  • Always protect furniture from heat and moisture. Never place furniture directly up against radiators or heaters.
  • Do not try to sand the product. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.

Marbles

Marble is a limestone that through pressure and heat has been recrystallized. During this process, various minerals enter the stone, which leads to a variety of colors, patterns and veining of the stone. This means that every piece of stone is unique, and the colors and veining will vary for each product. Each marble tabletop from Thalloris is treated and sealed with a special coating to help protect the material and extend the useful life of the product.

Care instruction:
  • For daily cleaning, use a damp, non-abrasive cloth to wipe off marble surfaces. Use only neutral soaps. Do not use scouring pads, acidic detergents, or abrasive cleaning products of any kind, as this may permanently scratch, stain, or damage the surface.
  • Take special care to avoid contact with common acidic liquids such as vinegar, wine, fruit juices, coffee and tea – all of which can stain marble permanently. If marble comes into contact with any of these liquids, it should be cleaned immediately with a soft damp cloth and neutral soap.

  • Do not use acidic or alkaline cleaning materials, glass cleaner or household ammonia
  • Use only soft cloth for wiping and polishing, never use sponges or metal scrubs.
